What you can expect from a Painting Holiday

Ali is an experienced Artist, Teacher and Demonstrator. She has lots of energy and will keep you busy with lots of different subjects and introducing you to interesting techniques.

Lessons will be both informal and informative. If you prefer to take it easy, you are welcome to just partake as much as you wish. There are always lots of other things to keep you occupied lie local walks and lazing by the pool etc.

We will be painting “En plein air” (that’s outside in the local area) as well as in the studio. If there is anything you wish to learn Ali is open and used to adapting her lessons. Ali will support you if you wish to take on your own project.

You can socialise as much as you wish to. The groups have all had a great deal of fun as well as painting. Equally, there are places to escape and have some peace and quiet.

Please shareAli Hargreaves is our In-House artist who you will see all our Inspirational videos and helps create all of our free activities on our blog. 🎨

Here’s why she loves being a part of our Ready, Steady, Paint! Community

“I am greatly worried that younger generations lack the opportunity to experience art at primary school. The focus tends to be on academic subjects with little, or no time, left for the creative arts. I believe this is a huge mistake. We need to encourage our young people to be creative and innovative. There are many jobs where this is a vital skill. I am so excited about being given the opportunity to encourage and teach art to children through Ready, Steady, Paint! It’s everything I believe in.”
