How to get to St Martins

Postcode: SK 12 1TE

This is situated in Higher Poynton. You need to go up Park lane…and continue up through the village. Keep on this road and don’t turn off until just before you are about to go over a bridge (with a very sharp right corner as you do so) Turn left BEFORE this bridge (with a right turn) into Shrigley road North (Unfortunately no obvious street name) Drive down this road and look out for St Martins on the left. It is a modern building. If you get as far as “The Boar’s head”…you have gone too far!

Reserve your place now!

Use the button below to reserve your place on this course! I will then get back to you to confirm whether your place has been approved.

Please note: Due to high demand, we cannot guarantee your place on the course. Students already on the course get priority of place and then those on the waiting list.

I have just finished a new rather special commission to paint two brothers when they lived in the Dominican Republic as children. A devastating hurricane meant that most of their photos were water damaged. One photo that survived is now precious ...but a bit worse for wear. It’s quite a blurred image, but straight away I decided it would look great as a collaged piece.
I enjoyed the challenge.

I assume that's a gilt frame? Although I love the idea that it's not and it's part of the artist integrity of the piece. Love the picture btw.

Brilliant - I really like the sunlight.

Lovely Ali.🙂

Ali, it’s magical! 🧡

I love this Ali and congratulations for the submission to the Derbyshire Open. Good Luck 👩‍🎨😍

This is my effort from Ali’s class. Very detailed lesson and I learnt a huge amount. 😀

Love these Ali, they look amazing and will try it one (!) day. I did a formal garden scene using coloured pens

Captivating! You're work is starting to stretch my imagination, am now beginning to appreciate the less convectional styles of painting, such that I'm tempted to have a go at them, thankyou Ali.#

Not sure if it was a good thing for my mental health though!!!!! 😏
