About Ali

Ali Hargreaves started her career as a primary school teacher, but due to hearing loss, she gave this up in pursuit of her dream occupation as an Artist.

“Alisart” started small with commissions from friends, which lead to others! Subsequently, she was asked to teach privately and this eventually lead to the thriving classes she runs today.

Ali exhibits, and sells, her work at “Awesome walls” climbing wall in Stockport. You can also see two of her murals there. Ali can be commissioned to do murals, large or small.

Her work is also permanently exhibited at “The centre in Poynton”. She paints commissions on every subject and media. Her work is diverse ..take a look at the Gallery.

Ali has a BEd Honours qualification and has spent several years as an Artist in Residence in schools, often producing large installations with the children. She teaches regular adult Art classes in Watercolours, Acrylics, Mixed media and Textiles art….see “courses” page.  She also runs all day workshops every month.

She is a designer for cushions for Malini.com (A soft furnishings company in London).
